Iran’s Foreign Minister to Visit India for Bilateral Talks

Iran's Foreign Minister, Dr. Abbas Araghchi, will be visiting India from May 7-8, 2025, for a meeting with his Indian counterpart to co-chair the 20th Joint Commission Meeting between the two countries. This marks Dr. Araghchi's first visit to India since assuming office as Iran's Foreign Minister in August 2024.

The joint commission meeting, scheduled to take place on May 8, coincides with the 75th anniversary of the signing of the India-Iran Friendship Treaty. The occasion aims to review key issues of mutual interest between the two nations and strengthen bilateral relations.
