Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources Laura Lochman will travel to Brussels, Belgium, and Zagreb, Croatia, from March 24-27 to strengthen ties with European counterparts and promote U.S. energy exports to the region.
During her visit, Lochman will participate in a keynote address at the "U.S. LNG Exports and Energy Security of Central and Eastern Europe" conference, where she will discuss how the Trump Administration's policies on American energy dominance can benefit both the United States and Europe. She will also emphasize the importance of cooperation on critical minerals supply chains.
The visit aims to foster closer relationships between officials from the European Union, Croatia, and U.S. and European energy companies, ultimately enhancing energy security in Central and Eastern Europe. By promoting U.S. energy exports and strengthening cooperation on key issues, Lochman's visit seeks to promote a more robust and diverse energy landscape for the region.
