U.S. Assistant Secretary to Promote Energy Exports in Europe

The United States will send an envoy to Brussels and Zagreb, Croatia, from March 24-27, to bolster ties with European countries on energy matters.

Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources Laura Lochman will be the lead figure in this trip. Her main objective is to promote U.S. energy exports to Europe and deliver a keynote address at the "U.S. LNG Exports and Energy Security of Central and Eastern Europe" conference. This event takes place on March 25.

During her visit, Acting Assistant Secretary Lochman aims to foster connections between European Union officials, Croatian counterparts, and U.S., and European energy companies. Her remarks at the conference will focus on how the Trump Administration's "American energy dominance policies," including increasing LNG exports, can benefit both countries.

In addition, she plans to emphasize the significance of cooperation in key minerals supply chains during her visit.
