Global Cooperation
In addition to regional issues, the two leaders discussed expanding cooperation on global priorities, including efforts to strengthen international institutions, promote clean energy development, and address emerging cybersecurity threats.
Commitment to Collaboration
The meeting concluded with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to regular high-level engagements and joint initiatives. Secretary Rubio expressed confidence in the U.S.-Japan Alliance’s role as a stabilizing force in the Indo-Pacific and a driver of global prosperity.
