The international community is awaiting the outcome of the first talks between Russia and Ukraine in nearly three years. He stated that there is evidence of cooperation between Venezuela and Tren de Aragua, which has been used to murder opposition members abroad.
In South Africa, Rubio emphasized the need to protect Afrikaners who are having their properties taken away due to racial tensions. He expressed support for bringing these individuals to the United States as refugees, citing the country's history of being a beacon for those oppressed abroad.
The situation in Israel and Palestine remains complex. Rubio stated that the U.S. supports an end to the conflict and a ceasefire, while also condemning Hamas's violent actions. He emphasized that if Hamas surrenders and gives up their weapons, the conflict could end immediately.
Finally, regarding Iran's nuclear program, Rubio reiterated that the U.S. policy is to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. The President has offered a peaceful negotiation route, but Rubio made it clear that Iran will not be allowed to enrich uranium for civilian purposes.
