Cambodia’s Prime Minister to Participate in World Economic Forum Annual Meeting

In a significant development that highlights the Kingdom of Cambodia's commitment to global economic cooperation and trust-building, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, will lead a high-level delegation to the 54th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland on January 16-17, 2024.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Her Excellency, Lok Chumteav Dr. PICH Chanmony Hun Manet, First Lady, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SUN Chanthol, First Vice-Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, as well as senior government officials and business leaders from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.

During his participation in the forum, Samdech Thipadei is scheduled to speak about restoring faith in the global system at an informal lunch for world economic leaders, focusing on win-win approaches to address global concerns and foster peaceful engagement and dialogue. On the sidelines of the event, he will meet with His Excellency Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and business figures from prominent global companies.
