The consultations have encouraged high-level exchanges and paved the way for further collaboration.

During their meeting, Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn welcomed the UK’s continued support for Cambodia’s economic growth. He expressed appreciation for the UK’s decision to extend Cambodia’s benefits under the Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) for an additional three years post-LDC graduation until 2032. Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn also expressed gratitude for the UK’s invaluable support for Cambodia’s socio-economic development, including in education, healthcare, and demining. He welcomed the opening of De Montfort University in Cambodia and called for enhanced educational exchanges and technical training programs.
