The U.S. government is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Yulan Adonay Archaga Carías, also known as "Porky" and "Alexander Mendoza," the leader of Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) in Honduras.
The designation of MS-13 as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) on February 20, 2025, marks a significant step towards eliminating the threats posed by this violent gang throughout the Western Hemisphere. The U.S. government is committed to building a safer and stronger hemisphere through all available means.
Archaga Carías is the highest-ranking member of MS-13 in Honduras and is responsible for directing the gang's criminal activities, including drug trafficking, money laundering, murder, kidnappings, and other violent crimes involving machine guns. He is also believed to be responsible for the importation of large amounts of cocaine into the United States.
The FBI has named Archaga Carías as one of its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, while he also appears on the DEA's and Homeland Security Investigations' most wanted fugitives list.
If you have information about Archaga Carías's whereabouts or activities, you are encouraged to contact the FBI by email at archaga-carias_tips@fbi.gov or via text at +1 832-267-1688 (text/WhatsApp). You can also reach out to the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate if located outside of the United States.
This latest announcement reinforces the importance of public awareness for rewards targets who are members of, or associated with, designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations. Bringing these individuals to justice is a priority for the Trump Administration.
A reward of up to $5 million has been offered under the Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program for information leading to Archaga Carías's arrest and/or conviction in any country. All identities are kept strictly confidential, and government officials and employees are not eligible for rewards.
