Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže, and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys in Washington, D.C. today.
The meeting focused on strengthening the alliance between the United States and its Baltic neighbors, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Secretary Rubio emphasized the importance of these countries to the region's collective security and reinforced the U.S. commitment to supporting their defense efforts.

"We appreciate the efforts of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia in increasing their defense spending and burden sharing, which is crucial for maintaining regional stability."
The discussion also touched on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, with President Trump's administration committed to achieving a just and lasting peace.
