In a significant development, H.E. Mr. Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, is set to visit India from March 9-11, 2025. The official visit has been extended to the Indian side by External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.
During his stay, both sides held productive discussions on various aspects of their bilateral cooperation, including political exchanges, trade, economic, connectivity, education, culture, and people-to-people contacts. The visit has led to the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), including one between Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service and Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and another between CDSCO, India, and CDMTE, Armenia on cooperation in regulating medical products. Additionally, Armenian Foreign Minister Mr. Mirzoyan delivered a lecture at the Indian Council of World Affairs, titled "Armenia-India in a Changing World: Strengthening Ties, Securing Futures Relations in the Changing World." He also interacted with scholars and researchers.
The visit marks an important milestone in strengthening the ties between Armenia and India, which share warm and cordial historical relations.
