Cambodia and Czech Republic Strengthen Bilateral Relations Ahead of Ambassador Vavra’s Departure

In a farewell call at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, congratulated His Excellency Martin Vavra, Ambassador of the Czech Republic, on the successful completion of his tenure in Cambodia.

On 23 Jul 2025, Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn received Ambassador Vavra for a farewell call, where they welcomed the steady progress in bilateral ties between the two countries. The dignitaries discussed the need for early conclusion of pending documents, including on visa exemption, tourism, and agricultural cooperation.

He reaffirmed the Czech Republic’s commitment to advancing its partnership with Cambodia based on mutual respect and shared interests.
