Thailand Strengthening Innovation Partnerships with European Countries

In a statement released on 7 Jul 2025, the Director-General of the Department of European Affairs participated in a panel discussion at the Startup x Innovation Thailand Expo 2025, where she exchanged views and experiences on innovation ecosystems with Ambassadors and representatives from European and South American countries.

The Startup x Innovation Thailand Expo 2025 is an annual event hosted by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) since 2020. This year’s event focuses on “Global Innovation Partnership (AI & Sustainability: the Next Era of Innovation)” and features over 30 panel discussions, 300 exhibitions by startups and innovation entrepreneurs, and 100 pitching sessions by startups in AI, Sustainability, and Deep Tech.

Thailand’s involvement in such international events underscores its commitment to fostering partnerships that promote economic competitiveness and technological advancement. The country’s participation in the expo reflects its proactive approach to addressing global challenges and seizing opportunities for sustainable growth.
