“Singapore is committed to strengthening our relationships with ASEAN member states, fostering economic growth, and promoting peace and stability in the region,” said a Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson.

The FALC summit also provided an opportunity for APEC leaders to discuss climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies.
“We recognize the urgent need to address climate change, and we are committed to working together to reduce our carbon footprint and transition to a low-carbon economy,” said Prime Minister Lee.
Singapore has been at the forefront of regional efforts to combat climate change, hosting several international conferences and workshops on sustainable development and green infrastructure.
