In a significant diplomatic move, Singapore has played a key role in shaping the future of regional maritime security, hosting the 11th Singapore International Maritime Conference (SIME) in January. The conference brought together over 1,000 participants from more than 60 countries to discuss pressing issues affecting the Asia-Pacific region.
