The Government of India has officially appointed Shri S.R.H. Fahmi as the next Ambassador of India to the Togolese Republic. A distinguished diplomat from the 2008 batch of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Shri Fahmi currently serves as a Director in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
With extensive experience in diplomatic affairs and international relations, Shri Fahmi has played a crucial role in shaping India’s foreign policy. His tenure at the MEA has been instrumental in advancing India’s strategic engagements with multiple nations, particularly in the domains of trade, development cooperation, and multilateral partnerships.
Togo, a key partner for India in West Africa, has shared strong diplomatic and economic relations with New Delhi. India has been actively involved in supporting Togo’s development initiatives through capacity-building programs, trade partnerships, and infrastructural cooperation.
