Since its inception, 68 scholarships have been awarded to eligible recipients, including doctoral, graduate, undergraduate, and college students from a diverse range of educational programs, such as business administration, engineering, and health sciences. Some recipients are also family members of the victims of Flight PS752.
The scholarship program's creators have ensured that the legacy of every single victim is honored through this initiative. By disbursing 176 scholarships over five years, Canada aims to provide a tangible tribute to those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
To be eligible for the scholarship program, applicants must be enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in Canada with at least one year completed and one year remaining in their program. Applications from family members of the victims are prioritized.
The deadline for applications is June 15, 2025, and successful recipients can reapply for the following academic year.
