The assistance for these two projects would contribute to Cambodia’s national mine action strategy toward achieving the goal of a mine-free Cambodia by 2030. Furthermore, the project would also reaffirm Japan’s steadfast commitment to supporting Cambodia’s socio-economic development.

This significant cooperation comes as part of Japan’s efforts to support Cambodia in its development and humanitarian goals. The extension of these grant aid projects will have a positive impact on the Kingdom, enabling it to enhance its capacity for mine action and expand outreach programs.
