On 23 June 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, chaired a meeting of the Commission for the Preparation of Documents for Submission to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding the Areas of MOM BEI, TAMONE THOM Temple, TAMONE TOUCH Temple, and TA KRABEY Temple.
The commission, established by the Royal Government of Cambodia on 6 June 2025, marks a significant step towards resolving the border dispute through international arbitration. The meeting saw the exchange of views and agreements on various aspects of the ICJ procedures, including strategy and work plans to accomplish its goals.
As part of this process, the commission consists of two supporting Working Groups: (1) the Legal Affairs Working Group and (2) the Diplomatic Affairs Working Group.
