India will host the 4th meeting of the India-Central Asia Dialogue on June 6, 2025, in New Delhi. The event is expected to bring together Foreign Ministers from five Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The meeting marks the third iteration of the dialogue, which was previously hosted by India in December 2021. The annual gathering aims to strengthen diplomatic relations between India and its Central Asian counterparts, with a focus on trade, connectivity, technology, and development cooperation.
At the 4th Dialogue, the Ministers will discuss pressing regional security challenges, as well as global issues of mutual interest. They will also share perspectives on how to foster closer economic ties between the two regions.
In addition to the dialogue, the Foreign Ministers are scheduled to attend a meeting of the India-Central Asia Business Council on June 5, 2025, hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
The India-Central Asia Dialogue is a testament to the mutual interest between India and its Central Asian neighbors in forging stronger partnerships. The event is an opportunity for the two regions to further deepen their cultural and people-to-people exchanges, which have been a cornerstone of their diplomatic relationship for millennia.
Representatives from over five countries will gather in New Delhi to explore ways to enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, technology, and development.
