The network in question has facilitated the procurement of sodium perchlorate and dioctyl sebacate from China to Iran. The sanctions target individuals and entities involved in this process, with the aim of disrupting the IRGC's activities.
This action is aligned with President National Security Presidential Memorandum 2, issued on February 4, 2025, which outlines the U.S. strategy to curtail Iran's ballistic missile program.
