The Government submits the agreement on instituting the Eurasian Reinsurance Company to the State Duma

In 2023-2025, the
costs of Russia’s share in the organisation’s charter capital will amount to
6.75 billion roubles and will be funded from the federal budget. The agreement was
signed in Yerevan on 20 October 2020 following the meeting of the Eurasian
Intergovernmental Council. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin,
and his counterparts from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.The countries of
the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will create the Eurasian Reinsurance Company.
The Government has endorsed the establishment of this company and submitted the
agreement for ratification by the State Duma.Resolution No. 445 of 24 March 2023The Eurasian
Reinsurance Company will provide insurance support in mutual and foreign trade to
companies in the EAEU countries and encourage the development of investment
cooperation, as well as ensure export loans and interaction with credit
agencies and insurers.
