Tatyana Golikova chaired a meeting of the emergency
response centre to prevent the import and spread of the novel coronavirus
infection on the territory of Russia.
Following the discussion and considering the epidemiological
situation in a number countries, a decision was made to resume reciprocal
regular air traffic with the following states effective 25 May 2021:
– Iceland (Moscow – Reykjavik two flights a week);
– Malta (Moscow –Valletta two flights a week);
– Mexico (Moscow – Cancun three flights a week);
– Portugal (Moscow – Lisbon three flights a week);
– Saudi Arabia (Moscow – Jeddah three flights a week;
Grozny – Jeddah one flight a week; Makhachkala – Jeddah one flight a week;).
In addition, a decision was made to increase the
number of reciprocal regular flights with South Korea (Vladivostok – Seoul,
three flights a week, one flight a week from Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk
and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Seoul), Finland (up to seven flights a week from
Moscow to Helsinki and St Petersburg to Helsinki), Japan (up to seven flights a
week from Moscow to Tokyo and Vladivostok to Tokyo, and resume one flight a
week from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Tokyo).
The emergency response centre also decided to resume
flights to foreign countries from international airports in Omsk, Syktyvkar,
Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk and Ulan-Ude as of 25 May 2021 in view of the
Government Directive No. 635-r of 16 March 2020 and the need to observe
sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
