Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov.
The two officials discussed a broad range of issues
relating to bilateral trade and economic cooperation, devoting special
attention to the marking of goods and the upgrade of taxation oversight in the Kyrgyz
Republic. They noted it was important to prepare concrete investment projects
in the energy sector, industry and agriculture, so that they can be reviewed at
the upcoming 23rd meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Kyrgyz
Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation.
