Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from President of the Republic of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega Saavedra and its Vice-President Rosario Murillo on August 25.
Extending greetings to Kim Jong Un and the Korean people on the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of the DPRK, the message said that we celebrate this day when the new era of victorious struggle of the party, government and dear people of the DPRK was opened after putting an end to the era of interference by foreign forces.
It noted that we always remember the several fraternal meetings held between the top leaders of the two countries.
The message said that we keep the great leaders Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il, and our brother Comrade Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs, in our hearts and invariably hold the common idea and view on value for building a world of justice, solidarity, freedom and peace.
It said that historically the peoples of the two countries have heroically struggled against all forms of interference, and we have regarded each other as brothers, friends and comrades and conducted a dynamic struggle for building a more excellent world everyone hopes in the present period when mankind are undergoing lots of difficulties.
Expressing admiration for the great Korean people, the message extended their sincerest greetings of respect to them.
