September 16, 2021, Chișinău – The head of Moldovan diplomacy Nicu Popescu had a telephone conversation with the Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC), Lazăr Comănescu.
During the discussion, Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu mentioned that the election in March of Ambassador Lazăr Comanescu to lead the BSEC Secretariat reconfirms Romania’s contribution and expertise on the dimension of regional cooperation on the Black Sea, as well as the professional qualities of the Romanian diplomat.
“The Republic of Moldova will make sustained efforts for more active participation in initiatives and working groups, especially in priority areas such as transport, tourism, economy, energy, education and the fight against crime.” – said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicu Popescu.
