July 9, 2020, Chișinău – The State Secretary for European Integration, Tatiana Molcean, welcomed the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova, Marko Shevchenko.
The discussions focused on the evolution of the dialogue between the two states with the European Union, the parties emphasizing the interest in intensifying the cooperation relations with the EU, by fully exploiting the opportunities created in the process of implementing the Association agreements.
Officials also discussed current issues on the regional cooperation agenda, in particular the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation (BSEC). Special attention was given to the topic of the autumn elections for the vacant posts in the BSEC Secretariat.
