Indian Prime Minister Attending the UAE’s World Climate Action Summit

Following a request from President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 30 to December 1, 2023. The trip is part of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change( UNFCCC) and the World Climate Action Summit, which is the 28th Conference of Parties( COP-28). The COP-28, which runs from November 28 to December 12, 2023, is presided over by the UAE.

A crucial platform for encouraging group action against the common problem of climate change is COP-28. Prime Minister Modi announced five specific goals as part of India’s unprecedented contribution to climate action during COP-26 in Glasgow under the title “Panchamrit.” On that occasion, he also introduced Mission Lifestyle for Environment( LiFE).
