Their Excellency Dr Irfaan Ali attended a reception organized for attendees of the eighth CARICOM-Cuba Summit this evening in Ilaro Court in Bridgetown, Barbados, last night. At the wedding reception, President Ali mingled along with other Heads of Government, such as the President of Cuba, HE Miguel Díaz-Canel; The Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) of Barbados, the Honourable Mia Mottley; the President of Suriname, HE Chandrikapersad Santokie; Secretary General associated with CARICOM, Dr Carla Barnett and other regional officials. Guyana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd; Guyana’s Ambassador to CARICOM, Mr George Talbot; Director, of National Intelligence and Safety Administration, Col Omar Khan; Head of the Customs No- Narcotic Unit, Mr Wayne Singh; Crime Chief, Mister Wendell Blanhum and Movie director of Projects at the Office of the President, Mrs Marcia Nadir-Sharma also attended the event.
