The Honourable Hugh Hilton Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation today, engaged in a teleconference with the Honourable Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of The Kingdom of Morocco.
During the conversation, the Foreign Ministers discussed several areas of cooperation at the bilateral level for the mutual benefit of the people of Guyana and Morocco.
Further, Minister Todd and Minister Bourita agreed to advance efforts included in the Roadmap of Cooperation between Guyana and Morocco. The roadmap was signed in 2020 and will aid in the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Guyana and the Kingdom of Morocco established diplomatic relations on December 14, 2012.
