High Commissioner Kubuabola Pays a Courtesy Call to the Perfect Minister Of Vanuatu

Fiji and Vanuatu possess reasserted their commitment to work closely in advancing the shared aspirations of our Pacific cycles family. This was articulated in a courtesy call paid by the Special Envoy of the Primary Minister to the Pacific plus Fiji’s High Commissioner to New Zealand, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, to the Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) of the Republic of Vanuatu, Honourable Alatoi Ishmael Kalsakau, in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) Kalsakau welcomed High Commissioner Kubuabola to Vanuatu plus thanked him for the well-timed discussions that reflect the warm relations and heightened cooperation between the two countries. High Office Kubuabola congratulated Prime Minister Kalsakau on the successful polls and his appointment as Vanuatu’s Prime Minister. Fiji’s commitment to further the partnership between the two nations through the close collaboration of our missions located in Canberra, Australia and Wellington, New Zealand, was reaffirmed at the meeting. He conveyed his best wishes to Prime Minister Kalsakau for his brand new leadership role, with guarantees of Fiji’s continued support for the Pacific family. Discussions furthermore centred on regional solidarity, including the progress of the execution work on the 2050 Technique for a Blue Pacific Continent, which is now the founding document for the Pacific’s local development, including the Pacific’s wedding with development partners. The conference took place at the margins from the 12th Conference of the Pacific Community (SPC) which was managed by Vanuatu. Fiji was represented at this conference by High Commissioner Kubuabola. It also provided an opportunity to look at the current areas of wedding while discussing the potential growth cooperation agreement to solidify the Fiji-Vanuatu partnership.
