Oslo, March 18, 2022.- The staff of the Cuban embassy in Norway met at the headquarters of this diplomatic mission to hold its popular consultation meeting on the new Code of Cuban Families.
The president of the Electoral Commission of the Embassy, Maité Rivero Torres, led the meeting, in which the participants offered their criteria and made proposals as a contribution to the conception of a law of great relevance for the country.
More than seven million people are expected to participate in this consultation process that will take place until April, and that constitutes an unequivocal demonstration of the will of the Cuban State to promote the broadest democratic participation in legislative processes. (Embacuba Noruega)
