Solidarity with Cuba continues in New Zealand.

Wellington, March 5. During the week it was learned that the Auckland Cuba Friendship Society group demanded in an open letter to President Joe Biden the exclusion of Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

It also transpired that Cuba Solidarity Aotearoa, which groups together several solidarity organizations with Cuba from all over the country, requested the intervention of the New Zealand Chancellor, to put an end to the practice of some banks and agencies of applying blockade regulations on New Zealand territory, despite the consistent opposition of the New Zealand government to that policy.

New Zealand supports the Cuban resolution against the blockade at the United Nations and has spoken out for the end of that policy.
