The Federation of Women of Greece (OGE) strongly denounces the European Parliament’s unacceptable Resolution against Cuba and the Cuban people under the pretext of “defending human rights”, which is in connection with USA interests.
We are challenged with the pretext of “human rights” used by EU/USA/NGOs in order to interfere in the internal affairs of Cuba.
We are challenged by those who have imposed and maintain for decades the embargo against Cuba as well as another 240 sanctions maintained by the Biden government, depriving the Cuban people of their basics.
We are challenged by those responsible for the collapse of their Health Systems with millions of victims when Cuba fully protected the Health of its people and showed global solidarity in the fight against the pandemic.
We condemn the unacceptable EU resolution against the Cuban people.
We express our solidarity with Cuba, its women and people.
We will not stop demanding the lifting of the barbaric USA blockade and all the brutal measures against Cuba.
