Monrovia, January 17, 2022 – Once again the Liberia-Cuba friendship group condemns the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on our country. This time it does so through social networks by participating in the virtual event Solidarity against the Blockade, organized by the Institute of Friendship with the Peoples.
The topic of the event was “Cuba’s efforts in the struggle for the preservation of the environment”, and it took place in the midst of the growing solidarity with Cuba from friendly countries and the growing rejection of the international community against the blockade.
The members of the Liberian solidarity organization pointed out that support for Cuba will continue as long as the blockade and aggressions prevail, reinforced in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting world crisis.
