Monrovia, May 26, 2021 – At the invitation of the Liberian Vice President, H.E. Jewel C. Howard-Taylor, Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera participated in the graduation ceremony of a group of disabled people who benefited from the Livelihood and Environmental Management Program, sponsored by Green Gold Liberia and the office of the Vice President of the West African country.
The activity recognized the efforts made by each of the graduates to complete their courses and reintegrate into society.
Addressing the graduates, the Cuban diplomat wished them success in their future working lives and, together with members of the presidential board, presented certificates of recognition.
The ceremony culminated with a visit to the exhibition of articles produced by the graduates.
