What happened today in the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Athens is the continuity of what happened in Lefkada, or in Kalamata, Peloponnese; or what happened in Veria; or last night at the War Museum, where Greek friends and Cuban compatriots got together.
Today, at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Athens, very virtuous young artists, who arrived from Saint Petersburg, put a distinctive touch on the presentation of this Cuban book on the love of the National Hero José Martí towards Greece and “the Greek”. They are all impressive prospects from renowned director Serguei Rolduguin.
New cities and universities continue to join the request to present the book José Martí and “lo Grecia” in their spaces, after these first five launches in which hundreds of people have participated. Thanks for this, as well as the many Greek written, radio and television media that have reflected and continue to reflect these acts, as the important newspaper Rizospastis did a few hours ago.
Special thanks to the Russian Center for Science and Culture for hosting the fifth launch act of José Martí and “lo Grecia”, especially to Mr. Alexander Chomenko, its director. Thank you for the impressive album recently released in the Russian and Greek languages, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Athens, on the graves of Russian and Soviet fighters buried in Greece. And especially thanks for his support to friend Vasily Gavrilov, Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Athens.
Vaguelis Giorgakakis, director of the Greek publishing house TOPOS, made an emotional evocation of the work presented, which is appreciated, and the Cuban ambassador to Greece, Zelmys Domínguez Cortina, greeted those present, among whom were journalists, former parliamentarians , and other personalities. Mr. Alexander Chomenko, Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Athens welcomed everyone present. The author of José Martí y “the Greek” referred in detail to the process of conformation of the book.
