On May 23, 2021, the Cuban Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Roberto Blanco DomÃnguez, held a cordial working meeting with HE Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade. On the Cuban side also participate Dr. Alex Carreras Pons, Head of the Department of Bilateral Cooperation in the Directorate of International Relations of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, and Carlos Luis Jorge Méndez, Director of Foreign Investment in the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Cuba.
During the meeting they discussed topics of interest on the development of economic, commercial and cooperation relations in different sectors between the two countries. They also talked about Cuba’s participation in Universal Exposition Dubai 2020, which will be inaugurated on October 1.
