The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is assisting four Bulgarian citizens to return from Morocco after the Moroccan authorities suspended on November 30, 2021 flights to and from the country for two weeks.
Our compatriots took off today at 15:30 local time from Marrakesh with a Romanian evacuation flight organized within the framework of the activated Civil Protection Mechanism of the European Union.
Our embassies in Rabat and Bucharest actively assisted in the return of Bulgarian citizens to their homeland. Our mission in Romania has created the necessary organization to welcome our compatriots and transport them to Ruse.
