The Ministry of Foreign Affairs assists the Bulgarian citizens, evacuated after the fire on the ferry in the Ionian Sea, to leave the island of Corfu. They will arrive tonight in Igoumenitsa, from where they will leave by bus for Bulgaria. Some of our compatriots will be transported to Italy as they wished.

As we have already announced, the first 38 Bulgarian citizens have already left for Bulgaria, and they are expected to arrive in the country at any moment.

According to the Bulgarian consul in Thessaloniki, who has been on the island of Corfu since yesterday to provide assistance on the spot, the two Bulgarians, hospitalized, are in good condition.
