The comedy tells the stories of a group of random guests at a seaside hotel who find themselves in unexpected and funny situations. The audience was genuinely amused by the movie, which was created within the tradition of the Bulgarian comedies from the past.
The guests were welcomed by the Consul General Mr. Angel Angelov, who confirmed that the Consulate General in New York would continue to include Bulgarian films in its cultural calendar in the future. The contribution of Lucia Dragosh was acknowledged, who is a Bulgarian producer and director and initiated the screening of the movie.
On March 16, 2023, the Consulate General hosted the screening of the Bulgarian feature film “Holiday Makers” directed by Ivaylo Penchev. The film was presented by its cinematographer Hristo Bakalov.
