Persuant to Order N. РД-01-597/ 16.07.2021 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria, as of 19.07.2021 to 31.07.2021 arrivals from the Portuguese Republic are permitted on the territory of Bulgaria upon presentation of a valid EU digital COVID certificate for testing or a similar document showing a negative result from a polymerase chain reaction test conducted up to 72 hours before entry into the country (PCR) for COVID-19 from the date of sampling entered in the document.
For Bulgarian citizens and persons with the status of permanent, long-term or continuous residence on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and the members of their families, item 4.2.2 and 4.2.3 shall apply.
