The Foreign Minister meets Chairman of the Presidium of the Russian Council on Foreign and Defense Policy
Within thin his official visit to the Russian Federation to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today met the Chairman of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, Fyodor Lukyanov.
During the meeting, they discussed the close friendship and cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation and their development and growth as well as ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
They also reviewed the efforts of the two countries in supporting the foundations of peace, security, and stability in the Middle East, in addition to a number of topics and issues of common concern on the regional and international arenas.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Moscow, Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Saati, the Bahrain Economic Development Board CEO, Khaled Ibrahim Humaidan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Eman Ahmed Al Dossari, and members of the delegation accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
