MoFA Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets with UK Ambassador to Kingdom of Bahrain
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received today in his office at the Ministry, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Roderick Drummond.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary for Political Affairs welcomed the British Ambassador, hailing the historical and distinct relations between the two countries, and its strength, in light of the mutual concern for its development in various fields. He also expressed his satisfaction with the positive outcomes of the meeting of the Bahrain-UK Joint Working Group, in serving common interest and joint aspiration.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his country’s desire to promote cooperation and joint coordination with Bahrain in all fields, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
The two sides also discussed a number of topics of common concern during the meeting.
