Minister of Foreign Affairs receives copy of credentials of Japanese Ambassador-designate to Kingdom of Bahrain

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received in his office at the Ministry today, Ambassador Miyamoto Masayuki, who presented a copy of his credentials as Ambassador-Designate of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs commended the friendly relations between the two countries, affirming the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to further develop its ties with Japan to serve both countries and people. He also wished the Ambassador success and carrying out his diplomatic duties.

For his part, Ambassador Masayuki highlighted the growing bilateral ties, expressing his keenness to further strengthen them at all levels. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, Tawfiq Ahmed Al-Mansour, the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Talal Abdul Salam Al-Ansari, and the Acting Director of Protocol and Conventions, Salah Mohammed Shihab.
