Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs discusses joint cooperation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of State of Israel
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met in Tel Aviv today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, H.E. Yair Lapid,
H.E. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah congratulated His Excellency Mr. Lapid on assuming the position of Prime Minister, wishing him success in his future duties. He praised the positive developments in relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel at all levels, stressing the importance of continuing to support efforts aimed at bringing peace and prosperity to the region.
For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel expressed his country’s aspiration to strengthen its ties with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples, wishing the Kingdom further progress.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of developing bilateral cooperation in addition to other issues of common interest.
