Foreign Minister receives Republic of the Sudan Ambassador to Kingdom of Bahrain
Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today received at the Ministry the Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Hasan, on the occasion of the end of his term as ambassador of his country to the Kingdom. The meeting was in the presence of the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Mudailawi.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister stressed the depth of the close brotherly relations that unite Bahrain and brotherly Sudan, hailing the efforts made by the Ambassador during his term to promote bilateral cooperation in all fields, which had a clear impact in promoting the brotherly relations between the two countries and people, the latest of which was the opening of the new headquarters of the Sudanese embassy and the residence of the ambassador in Bahrain.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Hasan expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the government and people of Bahrain, and to the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in particular, for the support he received, which contributed to the success of his diplomatic missions, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
On this occasion, the Minister presented a souvenir to the Ambassador, wishing him continued success.
The meeting was also attended by the Ministry’s Chief of Arab Affairs, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Tarifi.
