Minister of Foreign Affairs chairs 8th meeting of Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, chaired today the 8th meeting of the Council of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was held with the participation of the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Undersecretaries of the Ministry, the Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, the Director General of the Ministry, Minister advisors and the Secretary of the Council.
The Minister hailed the efforts of the Council in developing diplomatic and administrative work in the Ministry. He also expressed deep thanks and appreciation for the support received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its affiliates from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which greatly contribute to the success of the Ministry.
Dr. Al-Zayani praised the efforts exerted by the Ministry’s personnel inside and outside the Kingdom to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain at the regional and international levels and serve Bahraini citizens everywhere.
He also stressed the importance of continuing to achieve the objectives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and contributing to promoting the process of sustainable development in the Kingdom.
The Council discussed a number of topics on its agenda, and approved a number of new decisions and regulations.
