The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, spoke about the publication of the 2022 European Commission Progress Report for Albania.
According to her, Albania will continue to be a reliable partner for the EU, as she added that this year’s report would turn into an action plan that will serve as a future guide for the rule of law, public administration, reforms and democratic institutions.
Minister Xhaçka emphasized that the 2022 report confirms that Albania has continued to fulfill all the conditions set out in the March 2020 Council Conclusions, as she expressed her pride that the report also recognizes Albania’s hard work in the Security Council.
Chief diplomat Xhaçka mentioned that the Albanian side is aware of the issues raised in the report and is determined to address them one by one, in the spirit of transparency and cooperation.
