KABUL – Deputy Foreign Minister Mirwais Nab, while attending the 73rd Independence Day Reception of Sri Lanka called for the expansion of Afghanistan-Sri Lanka bilateral relations.
Touching on historical background and cultural similarities between both countries, Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized that “Afghanistan and Sri Lanka need to expand their bilateral ties.”
The ambassador of Sri Lanka, Piyal De Silva, highlighted the key aspects of Afghanistan and Sri Lanka bilateral relations and expressed his government’s willingness to further develop bilateral relations with Afghanistan.
