Are you a teenage U.S. citizen thinking about attending university in the United States? Are you the parent of a teenage U.S. citizen? Do you have questions about the rights and responsibilities when you become an adult U.S. citizen?
Jointly presented by American Citizen Services and EducationUSA, the official source of information for U.S. higher studies supported by the U.S. Government, this information session will explain the rights and responsibilities of adult U.S. citizens (age 18 and older). You will also learn about how to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the United States, including researching colleges and majors, completing applications as a U.S. citizen living in India, funding your education, and preparing for departure. Come and engage with us to have your questions answered.
Teenage U.S. citizens as well as their parents, regardless of citizenship, are welcome to attend. Please note that we will not address any U.S. visa-related questions in this session.
